For some people, beer is a perfect way to end the day, but in this startup's story, it's a means
addressing one of the most underutilized resources in the food + beverage industry.
With millions of pounds of used grain thrown out each day, the team at Susgrainable is on a mission to eliminate food waste while promoting healthy consumption of the grain - fibre, protein, and minerals.
Their solution - you can have your beer and baked goods, yet fascinatingly enough, spent grains have an incredible effect on both cardiovascular and blood sugar levels, thanks to the soluble fibre.
KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN DESIGN
For this project we worked with Catalyst Marketing to launch a successful Kickstarter campaign for Susgrainable. The project scope included developing the creative direction, creating social media graphics, designing landing pages, and email templates.
The challenge was to enhance Susgrainable's existing brand image and align it more closely with their values and future aspirations. This included creating a more interactive brand that would appeal to their target audience of sustainable and health-conscious families.
To meet the challenge, the following steps were taken:
Adoption of a brighter and more energetic colour palette
Incorporation of additional fonts and graphics to strengthen the visual identity
Development of fun characters that would engage and interact with the target audience.
